The Tonga Kid

(Tonga Kid is pictured in the middle with the "I want Piper" shirt).

This 350 pound Californian has had a very busy career in Pro Wrestling and even the movies. Born in California, this 100% pure Samoan was trained from an early age by Afa and Sika. In the early 1980s, the Tonga Kid began his career with an impressive streak of wins. After awhile, the Tonga Kid teamed up with his brother Fatu to form the Islanders (the original Islanders were Afa & Sika before they evolved into their true selves- the Wild Samoans). After teaming for awhile with his brother Fatu, Tonga found himself knee deep in a violent and vicious feud with "Rowdy" Roddy Piper which was publicized on the cover of wrestling magazines all around the world. From there, Tonga would from time to time team up with international sensation Samu (his cousin) and Fatu as a six man tag team version of the Samoan Swat Team (SST). It was around this time that Tonga made his motion picture debut in the movie Body Slam along with his uncles Afa and Sika. Today the Tonga Kid continues to wreak havoc on the West Coast and will continue to do so for a long, long time.
