The Great Samu

The oldest son of Afa, Samu started in Pro Wrestling at the age of 14. By the time he was 17 he was in the World Wrestling Federation causing havoc. Then, Samu went to Canada for several years where he gained great experience and was the perennial Canadian Heavyweight Champion main-eventing packed shows through out the country. While in Canada, the Great Samu began working in New Japan Pro Wrestling where he, along with the likes of Andre the Giant and Hulk Hogan main-evented many shows. Samu simply destroyed all comers in NJPW (where he eventually teamed up and won gold with YOKOZUNA) and left his mark on the Japanese company. After his successful run in Canada, Samu decided to team up with his younger cousin Fatu and formed the Samoan Swat Team (SST). The duo was unstoppable as the team ripped apart World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW out of Texas). The team held the WCCW tag team and 6-man championship countless times. From there, the duo invaded the WWE where they took the WWE gold twice! The duo followed in their fathers' footsteps and continued the Samoan family's dominance from 1992 to 1995! From there, Samu and Fatu parted ways with Fatu staying on with the WWE and Samu seeking tougher challenges in the wrestling world. So, Samu made several international appearances wrestling many greats from all around. In addition to the international tour, Samu began wrecking wrestlers on the independent scene. Today, Samu continues to dominate the wrestling world with his awesome Samoan Drop, Samu Kick, and countless other maneuvers. Recently, Samu did a music video with Cappadonna of the WU-TANG CLAN called "RUN". From time to time he will help train the students at the Wild Samoan Training Center teaching them the finer points of the business and holds. Additionally, the "Great One" wrestles with World X-TREME Wrestling taking it to the X-TREME on a regular basis.
