Fatu (Rikishi)

Rikishi has had a very successful career with many accomplishments and achievements all around the world. The nephew of Afa the Wild Samoan #1, Fatu was trained by the legendary Afa and Sika- the Wild Samoans in the mid 1980s. From his debut, Fatu was a HUGE success in countless territories as a singles sensation and as a tag team with his brother the Tonga Kid as the "Islanders". But, it wasn't until he teamed up with his cousin Samu (Afa's son) that he reached his full potential in tag team competition. Known as the Samoan Swat Team (SST), the duo captured countless titles and headlined many main events from Texas to Canada to Atlanta. They ripped up WCW/NWA and additionally took home the World Class Tag Team Titles on four separate occasions- making history like only the Samoan family can. From there, the two joined up with what would be their "guiding light" and manager... Afa the Wild Samoan and headed into the World Wrestling Federation as the Head Shrinkers. While in the WWE, the duo defeated the likes of the Steiner Brothers, Money Inc., the Quebecers, the Natural Disasters, Men On a Mission and countless others. Additionally, Fatu and Samu (the Head Shrinkers) took home the WWE World Tag Team Titles on two separate occasions in classic battles in front of sold out WWE venues. After Samu left the WWE for international touring, Fatu teamed with fellow islander Sionne. The new version of the Head Shrinkers continued just where the old version had left off- dominating the WWE tag team division. From there, Fatu decided he wanted to jump into the singles division and underwent the alias known as the Sultan! While working in the WWE, the Sultan (Fatu) competed from time to time for Top Rope Productions/ World Xtreme Wrestling (owned by Afa the Wild Samoan). Currently Fatu is head lining the WWE as "Rikishi" one of the hottest personalities today. This mass superstar is expected to go all the way to the top in the world of wrestling. He's just another Samoan superstar following in the family tradition.
